OPAN is an established Australian advocacy group funded by the Australian Government Department of Health. Talk to Us First has been designed to train the aged care workforce to ensure that the new Quality Standards surrounding advocacy are met, ensuring older people feel safe, encouraged, and supported to give feedback or make a complaint.
OPAN also offers two other courses:
- Abuse of the Older Person
- Responding to and preventing sexual assault in Residential Aged Care - Facilitator course
