Partner news - Expanded CareSearch Evidence Centre

Partner news - Expanded CareSearch Evidence Centre

Research evidence has an important role in aged care. Evidence helps us ensure that older Australians receive care and treatment that is effective and suitable to their needs. CareSearch has updated and expanded its Evidence pages to become an Evidence and Translation Centre. The new Centre brings together ‘where to find’ and ‘how to use’ palliative care evidence so that health professionals and services can improve care outcomes.

Two new hubs help health professionals develop their knowledge and skills. Evidence Training, focuses on evidence-based practice (EBP), quality improvement (QI) and research. Translation Training shows health professionals how to bridge the gap between research and practice.
