This course covers eight modules in palliative care:

  1. Introduction to palliative care.
  2. The pharmacist’s role in palliative care.
  3. Person-centred care.
  4. Supporting carers.
  5. Trajectory and symptoms of people living with life limiting illnesses.
  6. Symptom management.
  7. Interdisciplinary palliative care.
  8. Grief, bereavement and self-care.

Each module involves interactive learning and an assessment.

Beginner to intermediate.

Pharmacists.

Time to complete

8 hours to complete all the modules.
