Families and local communities are often involved in providing support and care to older people, directly or indirectly. While palliAGED seeks to support the aged care sector, we recognise that having relevant information as an older people, family member, friends or neighbour is important.
We have worked with our partner project to identify good online and print resources that the community can access to help them understand palliative care and aged care. We are also working with aged care staff and aged care services to create new support resources that they can share directly with families and their local community to help them find the information they need.
